Imres was established in 1980, initially with offices and a warehouse in Wezep in the Netherlands. The name Imres stands for International Medical Relief Emergency Service.
In order to better serve our customers, new premises were built in Lelystad in 2002, with close proximity to the main air and sea ports. A state of the art GDP warehouse, with a capacity for 5,000 pallets and 750m2 of offices, became the new home of Imres.
By 2010, space constraints were a challenge for Imres, and a second warehouse was constructed, adding further capacity for an additional 2,000 pallets, and enabling us to store orders for large customers and execute significant kitting projects. A further extension was completed in 2017, when further capacity was added for another 3,000 pallets and additional office space of 250m2, enabling us to create an efficient work environment for our growing team.
Since moving to our new premises, Imres’s turnover has more than tripled, and the number of staff has grown from 30 to 90 in Lelystad, with an additional 15 staff currently in the India office, which was established in 2014.
Our access to a Dubai hub with a storage capacity of 3,250 pallets means that Imres boasts a market leading capacity. This, combined with our team of more than 100 highly skilled and dedicated staff members and almost four decades of experience, enables Imres to handle every project in our field, no matter how large or challenging.
