2011.04.26 - Imres improves emergency respons program

In the light of the many recent emergency situations all over the world, IMRES has taken steps forward to improve its emergency response program.

For many years IMRES has been one of the world's leading suppliers of the IEHK emergency kits. These kits are always available from stock and prepared for immediate dispatch. We have now drastically increased our stock levels which will enable us and our partners to respond even more adequately to emergency situations.

Some emergencies require a different approach, such as the large cholera outbreak in Haiti. Therefore, IMRES now also keeps several large IDDK Cholera kits in stock. Each kit contains specifc antibiotics, large quantities of ORS, IV liquids, administration sets and medical supplies.

Furthermore, IMRES now also stocks Trauma kits. This involves Trauma kit A, which only contains pharmaceuticals, and Trauma kit B, which contains medical disposables and equipment to complement kit A.
